What to Ask Before Buying a Garage Door in Wichita

What is the spring rated for
A spring should be matched to the finished weight of the door, including insulation and any glazing. Under-sizing is the most common cause of a new door failing early.
Will the existing opener handle it
A heavier door on an opener specified for the old one is a slow failure in progress.
Is the profile a long-running one
If a section is damaged in five years, you want a profile the manufacturer still makes.
What does the covenant say
In the newer subdivisions, check before ordering. A made-to-size door is not returnable.
