What to Do When the Door Fails and You Need the Car
Most emergency calls in this metro are a broken spring, and there are a few things worth knowing before the truck arrives.
Find the manual release
The red handle hanging from the opener rail. Pull it with the door fully closed, not part-way open, or the door can drop.
Do not force it
If the door is heavy, crooked, or off its track, operating the opener is what turns a repair into a replacement.
Tell us if a vehicle is trapped
It changes the scheduling and what goes on the truck.
If the door is stuck open
Say so. Securing the property comes first, and we will make it safe even where a part has to be ordered.
